Twilight: Here comes the New Moon!

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past year, you will know that the world has gone blood-sucking crazy...

It seems every other girl has fallen in love with all things vampire! Dark, brooding and with a 21st century twist of actually having a soul, we've come to love the walking undead on our cinema screens (with Twilight and now The Twilight Saga: New Moon) and even in our living rooms (with gritty TV show True Blood).

To reflect this new-found obsession, I've found a great selection of vampire inspired products, from Bella's Moonstone Necklace, inspired by the beautiful ring the pale-skinned heroine wears in the Twilight films, to True Love Necklace, a full red heart made of Murano glass that glistens blood red in the light.

These pieces are dark without being creepy, and interesting without being overly-quirky, and they can be worn long after our obsession with vampires dies (no pun intended). But for now they make the perfect gift for the girl you know who is still in the throes of obsession!

Spark Fireworks This Bonfire Night

Bonfire night is fun every year, fireworks in the dark, and smokey smells, roasting chesnuts and of course the crackling fire making everyone's face glow.

There's something romantic about being huddled in the warm night air, marvelling at the beauty of the sky lighting up with sparkling colour.

Take advantage of this cosy time of year and spark some fireworks elsewhere! Some of these gifts are really romantic, others are sexy, and some are downright naughty!

There's the Romantic Scroll Game in which you and your partner pull intimate or sweet suggestions out of of a cute heart box, to act out on each other. Or there's the Chocolate Calligraphy, write in chocolate on your lover using the Shakespearian style feather pen and body chocolate. If a romantic candlelit session is all you're longing for, a Special Edition Bed Of Roses is just the thing. Light the red candles, put the champagne on ice in the elegant bucket provided, and enjoy!

Stop Your Door Blowin' in the Wind!

If you love animals, you might already have a pet. If not, I've found the cutest next-best-thing!

It sounds strange to say a door stop can bring a smile to your face but this one really will! Visitors to your home are sure to coo over it too... Hand stitched and made from the softest fabric, they make ideal cuddly toys but are also surprisingly heavy (they are weighted with sand) and so are the ultimate antidote to slammed doors by sturdily keeping doors open or ajar.

They are also the perfect thing for letting just the right amount of landing light in to your little one's rooms as they fall to sleep. Cuddly toy by day, loyal watch-pet by night!

Choose from dogs (including a dalmation or a labrador), cats, a hedgehog and even an owl!

Home Sweet Home

As the weather starts getting colder, there’s nothing like a cosy, welcoming place to relax and take refuge! Candles are a great gift because they suit any room in the house, making it warmer and giving off a gorgeous light.

Even better is a fragranced candle, like these luxury ones. They come in a range of scents, from Sandalwood to Limoncello and even Mint Mojito...These candles are pretty special, having been carefully crafted with the finest natural and essential oils and beautifully presented... The signature soy blend wax used ensures an 60 hour burn time - that's 15 evenings or 60 candlelit baths, of pure scented bliss…

A hand-tied ribbon adorns the glass candle and it is presented in a chic monochrome box printed with soy ink. These candles, each with wonderfully organic fragrances are a stylish accessory for the home and make a truly thoughtful gift.

If that wasn’t fab enough, the luxury presentation box is made from 100% recycled materials, so they're perfect for your eco-conscious loved ones too!

Gift ideas for Spring

Spring is in the air... the sun is shining, the flowers are growing, and everyone is smiling. Complete the image with a little Spring clean, for a sparkly bright home that’s as inviting as the spring and summer days to come. Follow these five steps to revitalise your home and yourself, and start each day with a spring in your step!

Top gifts and tips for springtime bliss

1) Clear the clutter - Space can be far more valuable than the clutter consuming it. Go through each idle item and ask, ‘Do I need this?’ or ‘Have I used this?’ ... If the answer is ‘No’ then it has to go!

2) Encourage positive Feng Shue - With your new-found clean, tidy space, should come a sense of peace and harmony. The home should be a place to really relax, so enhance the tranquil mood with the bamboo and incense set or to create a truly blissful home haven, opt for the zen hamper.

3) Bring the outside in - Open the windows and take in a breath of fresh air, and awaken the senses with some fresh fragrances. Present freshly cut flowers in a striking vase, and your living space will smell and look beautiful. Filling your home with plants will not only look great, but will also bring more oxygen and energy into the room. Try your hand at planting a carnivorous plant or even some garden herbs - you'll be surprised at how quickly and easily they grow!

4) Lighten up - The more natural light, the better. A mirror will reflect the light against each wall, and brighten up the feel of the room. And in the evening, candles offer a soft, relaxing light, while adding decorative style to your living space.

5) A little self indulgence - You’ve cleared out and cleared up, and now deserve to pamper yourself! Get silky smooth hands with the my hands set, or go for or a complete top to toe kit with body polish and body lotion for refreshed, glowing skin. Boys can get fresh and clean with the h2go base gift set and feel revitalised with the bergamot and amber collection.
